Sun Cities Lions Club

Every day twenty tons of recyclable materials are deposited in bins located at or near
shopping areas. These materials are sold for over $500,000 annually and the Lions Clubs
have distributed over $2 million to charities and community enterprises. Proceeds have
built the Community Services Building and the Recording Studios for the Blind at 9451
North 99th Avenue, Peoria.
There are presently 16 recycling bins available in the Sun Cities/Youngtown/Surprise area
for newspapers, glass bottles and tin or aluminum cans.
North of Bell Road:
Bell Camino Center, corner Del Webb Blvd. & Bell Rd., in service alley behind Safeway
store.
Circle K, Union Hills & 107th Ave.
Between Bell Road and Thunderbird:
Greenway Shopping Center, Greenway & 99th Ave., in the service alley behind ABCO
store.
Thunderbird Plaza, 99th Ave. & Thunderbird, in service alley, enter behind Trader
Joe's.
Boswell Hospital rear parking lot, southwest corner, enter from Santa Fe Drive.
Sunshine Service parking lot on Santa Fe Drive west of 99th Ave.
Sunland Drive, behind Sunland Memorial Park, next to Sun City Posse building east of Agua
Fria Drive.
Between Thunderbird and Alabama Ave.:
Grand Center, in west end of service alley on 108th Ave. south of Grand Ave.
Homeowners' Association parking lot south side of Coggins Dr., west of 103rd Ave.

Let the Soroptimists (Professional Women's Service Club) recycle your aluminum cans.
Collection bins are located next to the Lions Paper Bins at: Bell Camino Shopping Center,
Greenway Center, Sun Bowl Shopping Center, Thunderbird Plaza, Youngtown Shopping Center
Proceeds are used for community purposes.

A bin for collection of aluminum cans is located in the south parking lot behind the Boswell Hospital next to the Lion's Club bin. Funds benefit Boswell and Del E. Webb Memorial Hospitals and other non-profit Sun Living Health services.
