Sun Living Health MedCare, offered under the license of First Health of Arizona, is a
community-owned program developed primarily to assure local healthcare coverage for
northwest Valley residents.
The program provides choices of coverage among four standardized, Medicare select
supplement policies which are offered at competitive monthly rates.
More than 300 medical staff members at Sun Living Health Walter O. Boswell Memorial and
Del E. Webb Memorial hospitals currently participate.

Offered as a charitable service the program is designed to assist participants by waiving Medicare's deductible for the first day of their hospital stay, provided they are financially qualified Medicare inpatients. This confidential program is available to those whose combined income, the patient plus their spouse, is less than $18,000 annually. Medicare co-payments also are waived by Boswell and Webb Memorial Hospitals and cooperating physicians who agree to accept Medicare's "Part B" customary charges. A specially-coded CareCard is provided to program participants.

We organize and maintain a confidential file of all medical bills, prepare and file
primary and supplemental insurance claims, monitor insurance payments for maximum
reimbursement.
Also personal attention as liaison with providers, handling all billing communications.
Individual fees are available for those who do not desire an annual service. 'House Call'
service is available.
